Every time they cut from the tire, it just took me out of things again.
And, then every time you are with the spectators, the tone switches.
I felt like it was two movies combined into one. I would have preferred either A. movie about spectators watching the tire, for the whole movie or
B.Just following the tire.Spooky Seanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07190905683753476684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-706937351903658758.post-74884402669628669852011-07-10T17:50:07.473-04:002011-07-10T17:50:07.473-04:00I'm with you Andre. I love stupid comedies almost as much as I love horror, so I appreciated all the deeply absurb stuff going on in this film. What really surprised me was how it could manage to be silly and pretencious at the same time. I found myself bored as often as I was entertained.Marvin the Macabrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15339681552363692948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-706937351903658758.post-15250148606767016102011-07-09T03:59:10.113-04:002011-07-09T03:59:10.113-04:00So i am extremely thankful I stumbled upon this we...So i am extremely thankful I stumbled upon this website! AKA good movies that are worth or need to be that long. But still the thought of sitting still for 3 hours unnerves me.

I mostly hate when a shitty, shitty movie is an hour and 50 minutes long.Andre Dumashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07170879111034420803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-706937351903658758.post-62848971925195107292011-07-07T21:18:31.997-04:002011-07-07T21:18:31.997-04:00If you can't stand movies over an hour and a h...If you can't stand movies over an hour and a half length, then you'd just love Star Odyssey, an Italian Star Wars rip-off that, apart from being too low-budget to actually show any proper space scenes, apparently in some cuts goes on for TWO AND A HALF HOURS!!! Plus, it even feels like it has scenes missing, which would make it even longer! hahaChris Hewsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11566568274862884325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-706937351903658758.post-62255674915213281122011-07-07T21:14:41.998-04:002011-07-07T21:14:41.998-04:00Oh TH! The good news is I get what it's trying to do, I just wasn't bowled over by it or anything is all. I didn't HATE IT! I just didn't love it like I wanted to. But I was also lonely and my cat was avoiding me. You know how it is.Andre Dumashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07170879111034420803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-706937351903658758.post-65001257421652425832011-07-07T19:39:22.519-04:002011-07-07T19:39:22.519-04:00Wha.....who are you???? Where is the real Andre???...Wha.....who are you???? Where is the real Andre???????? I mean...I actually disagree with you on a movie. This hurts my brain.

I liked the whole "no reason" thing, particularly as it applied to the audience. To me the film was kind of a giant middle finger to all the people who watch indie/genre stuff and complain about every detail. The cast of viewers reminded me of my old video store/movie theater days, and I must say it was kind of awesome to see their fate.

But yeah, it's also kind of pointless, which can be annoying. Doubt it'll become a favorite of mine, but it seems like a movie I'd go back to just to remember that it's more fun to watch something that's not all Hollywoodized sometimes.

On second thought, maybe you're right...but if you're right that means I'm not me. This is all so terrifying, I'm moving on before my brain explodes. The Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09871017982169159144noreply@blogger.com
