Glancing over this reminds me of how creepy/effective masks can be. Especially the examples like The Shining (eww!), Eyes Wide Shut (oh, Kubrick), and The Strangers, where I thought the masks were the coolest & most interesting part.

Also, the inclusion of Leatherface reminds me of TCM 2, where he forces Stretch to wear a mask... made of her station manager's face. Again, ewwww!

Andreas--I tried very hard to get that screengrab of that moment from TCM 2 but it did not work out! I thought of it too though.....incredibly effective and creepy.

Isn't that more of a sack? I thought about Nightbreed, and Jasons burlap sack too, but ultimately decided it was more of a cover than a mask?
